Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

- Right to Correction and Completion: Request correction of inaccurate or misleading personal data, and completion of incomplete data.
- Right to Erasure: Request the deletion of personal data that is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected, subject to the retention exception described below.
- Right to Grievance Redressal: Raise a grievance about how we process your personal data, and expect a response within the timelines described below.
- Right to Nominate: Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal, and without affecting our ability to continue processing where another lawful basis (such as a legal obligation) applies.

Retention Exception for Erasure Requests
As a Virtual Digital Asset Service Provider registered with the Financial Intelligence Unit-India (FIU-IND) and regulated under the Prevention of Money-Laundering Act, 2002 ("PMLA"), Krypsm is legally required to retain certain records for a minimum period regardless of an erasure request.
- Identity/KYC records: retained for a minimum of 5 years from the date the customer relationship ends.
- Transaction records: retained for a minimum of 5 years from the date of the transaction.
- Where an erasure request falls on data covered by this legal retention obligation, we will retain that specific data for the mandated period and erase or anonymize it once the obligation lapses, and will let you know which parts of your request could not be immediately actioned and why. Data that is not subject to a legal retention obligation (for example, marketing preferences) is erased or anonymized on request.
